Initial booking fees are non-refundable. If a sitter cannot be secured for your booking, the fee will be credited to your account for future use. If the family cancels within 24 hours of the care start time — or within 12 hours if the booking was made less than 24 hours in advance — the family will be billed for two hours of care per booking day and a cancellation fee as follows: $50 for bookings of 1–4 days and $100 for bookings of 5 or more days. Failure to pay the invoice within 48 hours the family's card on file will be charged automatically or if no card is on file non payment may result in the family being referred to small claims court by Motor City Sitters.
