Finding the Right Nanny Shouldn't be a Chore
With a dedicated team of CPR certified, and highly experienced sitters, you can rest easy knowing your children are in trusted, caring hands. We take the time to guide you through the process and thoughtfully pair you with the nanny or sitter who best fits your family's unique needs. Whether it’s daily care, a night out, or special support, our sitters provide top-tier care while making sure your little ones are having fun along the way. We also offer compassionate visitation services for families with children or adults of all ages who have special needs, creating a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels supported and valued.

All of our experienced nannies are vetted, background checked, and CPR certified. We provide only the best for our families!
How it Works
Fill Out a Request
Complete our family intake form. You will then receive an email to fill out your family's information and nanny preferences. Once that is completed we require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be collected at the end of the family information form.
New Family Intake
We will then reach out to schedule a phone interview with you so we can get to know you a little better and to understand your childcare needs.
Placement Process
We will begin the process of seeking qualified sitters or nannies that meet your families needs. We will then send you qualified candidates for interviewing (nanny placement) or will pair you with the perfect babysitter.
Pricing
The placement fees below are a one time cost owed by the family to Motor City Sitters (*with the exception that Nanny Share fees are per family). This covers finding the perfect nanny, background checks, and all placement processes. The entire placement fee is due up-front to ensure we find an exceptional nanny for your family. The 10% is considered our ongoing maintenance cost which includes additional support throughout your nanny placement period. Our goal is to place dependable, long-term team members who are committed to your family.

Note: In order to maintain that goal, we focus on roles that provide a consistent and sustainable schedule. Because of this, we are unable to accommodate positions with split shifts (morning hours then after school hours) unless 30 short morning or afternoon only schedules, placements that are only one day per week, and non-full time summer care positions.
