Compensation varies based on the position, experience, schedule, responsibilities, number of children, and household needs. Whether you work as a babysitter, nanny, or Household Manager, you keep 100% of your earnings. Motor City Sitters never takes a percentage of your pay.

Motor City Sitters encourages families to offer competitive wages and professional employment standards. Families hiring a nanny or household manager are required to provide guaranteed hours and pay their household employee legally “on the books.”

Babysitter & Nanny Requirements

21+ years old with 3+ years of paid childcare experience

Hold a valid driver’s license

Be legally authorized to work in the United States

Be CPR certified (or willing to become certified)

Be dependable, professional, and committed to providing safe care

Successfully complete Motor City Sitters vetting and screening process

Household Manager Requirements

3+ years of professional household management or related experience

Highly organized, with excellent time-management and multitasking skills

Professional, dependable, discreet, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
