We are currently looking for candidates for intermittent and recurring placement.
We strive to provide exceptional service to all of our customers. The first step in accomplishing that is by ensuring our sitters are well mannered, mature, and are willing to go above and beyond for the families they care for.

All candidates will be vetted, background checked, and interviewed to guarantee the perfect fit at Motor City Sitters. We believe in keeping employees and families happy!
How to get started:
1. Submit an application
Submit a sitter intake application using the button below.
2. Interview so we can get to know you
After submitting your application, we will reach out to schedule an interview with you so we can get to know you a little better. We will discuss any questions as well as review your application. We can accommodate most scheduling conflicts for this interview, and we will work around days and times that are best for you.
3. Reference check
We reach out to your references from prior childcare positions, and will confirm with your references that you will be a good fit for Motor City Sitters!
4. Background check
Let's face it, we like you. The final step is for you to pass a background check and ensure that all of your certifications are up to date.
5. Onboarding and paperwork
Once the background check is completed, We will work with you on completing any applicable paperwork and onboard you to our processes and help get you acclimated to the Motor City Sitter team.
6. Welcome to the team!
Congrats! Once you have made it to this step, you are now officially a Motor City Sitter. We cannot wait to work with you and are proud to have you on our team.
Pay rate:
